The Princess has arrived!

So our little Cheznie Mae is finally here. I cant really say finally though becuase she is very prompt, when the doctor origanlly said July 12th she took that to heart. She arrived the evening of the 12th and we were so excited to have her join us. She was 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. We had to stay in the hospital for two nights becuase of a chance her hips clicked. So we were just waiting on a specialist to come and see her. All day they kept saying she was coming, finally at 2:30 she came and then we waited around until 4:00 to finally be released. So after nearly 3 full days in the hospital we were able to bring our little Princess home.

And right now she is curled up so cute on my lap because today she has decided that is the only place she can sleep. I love this little girl soooooo much.

We had our first outing today to go to church. My cousin was here to bless her baby and so we thought we would go. If not for this I would have held off on going back to church just yet. First off let me say church pews are very uncomfortable and when my dad got up to help with the blessing trying to let him get by was not easy. But it was a very good meeting and we are all glad we went. Adam gave the baby to the first person he saw as he walked through the door (he said he could not tell his Bishop no, so Paul and Kathy took her) so for the rest of the meeting I had everyone looking at me so strange because I had no baby that was suppose to be here. But after church she got all the attention she could stand.

One Year Later

Oh my gosh, Adam and I have been married a year! And an extremely crazy one at that but it really doesnt feel like a year. Thank goodness Adam has put up with me through it all.(Hi, this is Adam just wanted to interject my own opinion here. Tori is the one who has not only been putting up with all the crazy pregnancy stuff but also her 31 year old child!) After 7 months of being sick and the hospital visit that scared my father to death,(AND her husband) I finally started to feel better but have no energy to do anything.
We spent the weekend in Colorado for our anniversay, because I would not let us go to far from our doctor, it was fun though to just stop where ever and do anything. But of course I would have to sit down a lot and of course my amazing husband was just fine pampering me and we had a ton of fun(She is awesome for saying so because I made her go to country jam and sit in very hot weather for a long time with loud drunk crazy people all around). At one point I said "I am sorry we couldnt do that" and he got upset because I was apologizing. But then I had to explain that I was sorry for me too and informed him that we would have to come back sometime to do it.
It really is great being married to my best friend and we have so much fun together.(She took the words right out of my mouth.) I am now going to attempt to post some pictures from our weekend.

Things Are Changing

The other day my sister told me I should start a blog, another sister had been telling me that for a long time. So here it is, dont know how successful this will be.

We are counting down weeks and days until our baby girl will be here. We thought we had a name picked out but we kept hearing it everywhere, so now we are rethinking it. So any suggestions are appriciated. We bought a book that was labeled 60,000 Baby Names, but we have renamed it 60,000 Baby Names You Don't Want. Some of Adams favorites from the book are Bazoka, Bacon and Ha. Yesterday Adam and a friend came up with Helen Mary-Jean after my grandmothers but I think that is a bit much for such a little girl.

We are trying to get everything ready but the vending machines keep getting in the way. After the baby shower we took everything home and set it in the front room. Then we had to do the shopping for the machines and guess where that stuff landed...yup, THE FRONT ROOM. So I have been working hard at getting things to fit somewhere. Adam and I were moving things around the other day. When he headed off to work I thought I would sit down and take a break but there was no where to sit! Everything was full: the couch, the chairs, the bed, the rocker, even most of the floor. So wish me luck as I continue to sort through the mess we call home.
