Merry Christmas and Happy New Years
This has taken a long time but here is what we did for Christmas. First off we drove to Salt Lake one night to see the lights on Temple Square and the next day we saw the Erekson's. I felt bad for Cheznie because it was cold, But the coat she is wearing was very warm and when we got her out of the stroller she was nice and toasty.
Her big present was sort of like an exersaucer that she can walk around when she gets older. The problem is she is too small for it still and can hardly reach the toys, but i guess she will grow into it.

When we got to Moab, Cheznie got passes around a lot.
After church on Sunday we went to my parents house and opened presents and then had a wonderful Christmas dinner.

Christmas this year was lots of fun. I heard of a family who dresses up on Christmas Eve like a Jerusalem scene. So we did it this year unfortunately it just looks like the nativity this year, so we will see if we do this again. Also I made food like they would have back in Christ's time, such as: grapes, nuts, berries, and meat pies(they were kind of a joke). It was fun, and it is so nice my husband goes along with my crazy ideas.
We celebrated Christmas a few days early so we could do the things we wanted before heading to Moab. It was great and we had so much fun together.Cheznie was so cute and was happy with everything she got. Adam and I have kind of made a tradition of getting each other Kisses for Christmas, this year they were even the same kind.
We found a whole bunch of small Care Bears at DI and Cheznie thought they were great. Her big present was sort of like an exersaucer that she can walk around when she gets older. The problem is she is too small for it still and can hardly reach the toys, but i guess she will grow into it.

Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents at Grandpa and Grandma Scow's and then went to church.

Cheznie hardly slept the whole time we were in Moab. Until Nathan held her and she went right out. The next pic is after he set her down and went upstairs. We call her zombie baby.

Santa Pictures
Santa is a cool dude. He gives candy and toys!
5 month pictures
My own winter wonderland - at least the snow here is pretty in my back yard, even if it is unwanted.
She is getting so big she can sit up, but this only lasts a few seconds because she likes to rock herself.

New Place
A little bit of catch up. So we are thrilled to be in Vernal! After A couple of weeks making sure everything was sorted out and doing all the inventory on the vending machines. I was able to move up to be with my husband. And over a month later I am still deciding on where every thing goes and trying to find things. On the note of finding things... A huge thanks to all those who helped me get stuff done. But to those who decided to keep stuff, or steal it out of my house, at least you gave it back. Braden and Matt tried to play a little joke on us and keep our Settlers game. Braden was a little disappointed when we had only noticed it gone the night before Thanksgiving, many weeks later.
Adam loves his new job other than the extremely long hours, he goes to work at 6 am and comes home at 6 pm and does this six days a week. But we do have Sunday together that is good. I dont think Chez likes Vernal much though, in Moab she would sleep through the night. But now she gets up about every 3 hours. So if anyone has any ideas on how to get a baby to sleep let me know because I have never had to get up with her more than maybe once a night except in the hospital.
Our condo seems quite large to me after our last place. It has three bedrooms and one and a half baths and an unfishined basement. We are planning to fix up the basement so I can do a small daycare down there. Hopefully then I will have something productive to do with my time. Right now it is just me and Cheznie hanging out.
The above picture is of my bald family. Adam shaved his head for his mom and grew out his beard because of the cold in Vernal. So this is how he looked for a while, but as the hair on his head grew in he grew tired of the extra hair and shaved his beard.
I will now sum up things with the following pictures

We went to a corn maze with Jared and Christy. It was a lot of fun. They had a house of corn, it was about a foot deep. Cheznie would not sit in it and let me take her picture though. Adam got to shoot pumpkins and corn
Chez was a fairy princess for Halloween and was darn cute. We only went to see Jared and Christy but it was still fun dressing her up. The next picture is a costume that Christy had and she was cute in it but I found the fairy wings for $5 and we had everything else. So I could not resist.
Just cute pictures. The one on the right is a fish she love and here she was smooching with it. Then below is starting to eat cereal. She is not very fond of it and the whole eating thing has gone down hill. She sort of liked it at first and was catching on, now I can't get her to even try it.

now what am i suppose to do?"

Addiction
So Cheznie is a very fun baby. Everyone seems to find something different that she likes. My mom and Adam find a lot of movement keeps her happy. I have found the swing is one of her favorites and a must at our house. The binkie is also very important in our lives!
But Adam and I have found the best thing and Cheznie is addicted to it. I saw this mobile online and it was kind of expensive ($30 for a mobile is a bit much for us) but I loved it so much that we budgeted for it and I finally ordered it. It is like a regular mobile with the canopy and music but it will shine a moving picture on the ceiling also. So when we first introduced this to Cheznie she watched it for quite a while and just smiled and cooed. But the wonderful thing about this is that it has continued to be a favorite for her. She loves to watch the animals go around and talks to them and smiles. It is the best investment we have made yet I think.
Now here is some fun stuff we have been doing lately. For everyones birthdays this year my parents took everyone to Lagoon. We like to go when it has Frightmares because of all the haunted houses. It was tons of fun and the lines were not all that long. Except the night before I sprained my ankle at my brothers house. The porch step is a little dangerous if your not paying attention! But I could walk on it and it just hurt when using stairs and it was quite swollen for a few days. So the night before going to Lagoon is not a good time to hurt yourself.
The picture below shows us standing in the longest line all day and it was for the train(the only thing Cheznie could ride). My mom and dad dont really ride too many things and so they watched the babies and children as needed. The Frightmare things were a little trickier. Mom was off with Payton and Crystal while the rest of us tried to go through the haunted houses but not to have to take the babies in. So we would all stand in line, the strollers included, then when we got to the front a couple of people would stay and the rest would go in. Then we would come out and switch with hopefully the person able to go in right away. We went up until the park closed and then went out and had sandwiches at the car. I think Adam and I were one of the very last people to leave the parking lot.
Also pictured below is Stacy taking both babies so the rest of us could go on Rattlesnake Rapids and get completely soaked! Thanks everyone for the fun and helping to watch Cheznie.
This is Cheznie with her new cousin Quinn. She is 2 1/2 months older than her and looks so big compared to her. But then again Cheznie was never that small.
Now for some sad news! We will be moving to Vernal, Adam got a job up there and he actually is starting that today. I will be in Moab for a few more weeks until we get an apartment and I get everything else squared away. It was so sad to see Adam leave yesterday and since he could be working 6 days a week I am not really sure how often he will be able to come home. I will go up as often as I can but I watch a little boy a couple of days a week and we still have vending machines for a little while longer. But I am excited for this new adventure and a little better job.
