Update

A lot is happening here. I have been trying to watch some kids for extra money, but the parents of the kids I was watching just stopped coming. So it has been a little hard financially and after handing out flyers, putting it in the paper and word of mouth...I have someone to watch again and a little extra income. BJ Shupe Bigler called me a couple of weeks ago and I am watching her daughter Paisley now. Yeah! Cheznie loves having someone to play with.

Adam is officially hired on! He was on as a temporary basis through another company but last month it became official and we got a much needed raise and pretty good benefits. He still really likes the work he is doing but it is a lot of hours.

Cheznie is crawling everywhere now. After a weekend at Nathan's she would get on all fours and inch herself along. After about a week of this she got braver and would move an arm or a leg out farther. Now she gets pretty much were ever she wants except the stairs. She can pull herself up and with Paisley around I don't think stairs will take her too long.

One more thing...it is warming up around here. Yeah! It wasn't too cold of a winter, I think the Lord blessed me for moving up here. But I am still excited about the sun all the same.

Now here are some pictures...

This is what I woke up to one morning, she has always been good at getting out of her swaddled blankets but this is taking it to a whole new level, we call her Huedini Baby

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

This has taken a long time but here is what we did for Christmas. First off we drove to Salt Lake one night to see the lights on Temple Square and the next day we saw the Erekson's. I felt bad for Cheznie because it was cold, But the coat she is wearing was very warm and when we got her out of the stroller she was nice and toasty.

Christmas this year was lots of fun. I heard of a family who dresses up on Christmas Eve like a Jerusalem scene. So we did it this year unfortunately it just looks like the nativity this year, so we will see if we do this again. Also I made food like they would have back in Christ's time, such as: grapes, nuts, berries, and meat pies(they were kind of a joke). It was fun, and it is so nice my husband goes along with my crazy ideas.

We celebrated Christmas a few days early so we could do the things we wanted before heading to Moab. It was great and we had so much fun together.Cheznie was so cute and was happy with everything she got. Adam and I have kind of made a tradition of getting each other Kisses for Christmas, this year they were even the same kind.
We found a whole bunch of small Care Bears at DI and Cheznie thought they were great.
Her big present was sort of like an exersaucer that she can walk around when she gets older. The problem is she is too small for it still and can hardly reach the toys, but i guess she will grow into it.

When we got to Moab, Cheznie got passes around a lot.
Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents at Grandpa and Grandma Scow's and then went to church.

After church on Sunday we went to my parents house and opened presents and then had a wonderful Christmas dinner.

Cheznie hardly slept the whole time we were in Moab. Until Nathan held her and she went right out. The next pic is after he set her down and went upstairs. We call her zombie baby.

Santa Pictures

Santa is a cool dude. He gives candy and toys!
5 month pictures

My own winter wonderland - at least the snow here is pretty in my back yard, even if it is unwanted.
She is getting so big she can sit up, but this only lasts a few seconds because she likes to rock herself.

New Place

A little bit of catch up. So we are thrilled to be in Vernal! After A couple of weeks making sure everything was sorted out and doing all the inventory on the vending machines. I was able to move up to be with my husband. And over a month later I am still deciding on where every thing goes and trying to find things. On the note of finding things... A huge thanks to all those who helped me get stuff done. But to those who decided to keep stuff, or steal it out of my house, at least you gave it back. Braden and Matt tried to play a little joke on us and keep our Settlers game. Braden was a little disappointed when we had only noticed it gone the night before Thanksgiving, many weeks later.
Adam loves his new job other than the extremely long hours, he goes to work at 6 am and comes home at 6 pm and does this six days a week. But we do have Sunday together that is good. I dont think Chez likes Vernal much though, in Moab she would sleep through the night. But now she gets up about every 3 hours. So if anyone has any ideas on how to get a baby to sleep let me know because I have never had to get up with her more than maybe once a night except in the hospital.
Our condo seems quite large to me after our last place. It has three bedrooms and one and a half baths and an unfishined basement. We are planning to fix up the basement so I can do a small daycare down there. Hopefully then I will have something productive to do with my time. Right now it is just me and Cheznie hanging out.
The above picture is of my bald family. Adam shaved his head for his mom and grew out his beard because of the cold in Vernal. So this is how he looked for a while, but as the hair on his head grew in he grew tired of the extra hair and shaved his beard.
I will now sum up things with the following pictures

We went to a corn maze with Jared and Christy. It was a lot of fun. They had a house of corn, it was about a foot deep. Cheznie would not sit in it and let me take her picture though. Adam got to shoot pumpkins and corn

Chez was a fairy princess for Halloween and was darn cute. We only went to see Jared and Christy but it was still fun dressing her up. The next picture is a costume that Christy had and she was cute in it but I found the fairy wings for $5 and we had everything else. So I could not resist.

Just cute pictures. The one on the right is a fish she love and here she was smooching with it. Then below is starting to eat cereal. She is not very fond of it and the whole eating thing has gone down hill. She sort of liked it at first and was catching on, now I can't get her to even try it.

 "Help I have handcuffed myself,
now what am i suppose to do?"
